Horn Lessons:

Hailing from generations of educators in my family, teaching is in my blood. Inspiring students and watching them succeed by having “ah-hah” moments is the most gratifying feeling and makes me immensely proud. I operate under the philosophy that “Music lasts a lifetime”, a quote told to me by my piano teacher growing up. While many students are conflicted on which extracurriculars to choose, I like to remind families that our bodies will allow us to play music for the next 80 years. Learning an instrument also develops time management, communication, and disciplinary skills that will serve a lifetime.

With years of teaching experience, my private students consistently earn first chair in their school bands as well as first division ratings at solo and ensemble festivals, both the regional and state levels. My students have also auditioned and won positions in honors bands and youth orchestra. In addition to teaching privately, I’m available to lead performance classes, group lessons, and sectionals.
